New Delhi: The national capital Delhi is currently reeling under the second wave of the corona. New cases of infection have certainly declined in the past few days, but the number of deaths has been steadily increasing. Amid the crisis, there are also reports of oxygen shortage in Delhi.

The supreme court had yesterday asked the central government to give 700 MT of oxygen to Delhi, which is scheduled for a hearing at 10.30 am on Thursday. The apex court has made it clear that it is not acceptable for Delhi to get less oxygen. The Delhi High Court is also scheduled to hear the oxygen crisis on Thursday on the sidelines of the Supreme Court. Many hospitals are in the shelter of the High Court, in which case the oxygen crisis, as well as many other issues, have to be heard.

When it comes to coronavirus infection cases in Delhi, around 20,000 corona cases were registered in Delhi the previous day, while more than 300 deaths were reported. Delhi currently has more than 91,000 corona cases, while the death toll has crossed 18,000.
