Mumbai: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MP Supriya Sule on Tuesday said that Nitin Gadkari is the only member of the Union cabinet who works. Sule was speaking at a meeting of the NCP in central Maharashtra's Parbhani district. She said, 'Nitin Gadkari is the only minister working in the present government and I accept it on record.' Sule said that, unlike others, Gadkari does not think of being associated with the party while doing his work.

MP Sule said that BJP leaders, especially from Maharashtra, lie so much that they should be given awards. Supriya Sule said, 'Which religious book teaches them this, I do not know. They will have to answer this someday. Recently the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway was inaugurated. This expressway, passing through many states of the country including Delhi, and Rajasthan, is the longest expressway in the country, with a length of 1,386 km.' Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari has described the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway as a great success. Gadkari informed that 25 lakh tonnes of charcoal are to be used in the construction of this expressway. Apart from this, four thousand trained engineers were engaged in the construction work of this expressway. 

According to the Union Minister, this 4-lane expressway has been laid for 2.5 kilometers in 24 hours, which is a world record in itself. While a world record has also been created for putting the maximum amount of charcoal in 100 hours in a 50-kilometer single lane. Nitin Gadkari tagged this information with #BuildingTheNation.
