Surat: A spa has been unearthed on the VIP road in the posh area of The District of Vesu where the prostitution business was run. The police raided and detained a customer and a manager. The police found two Thailand girls from the spa. The police investigation revealed that the two girls had been living in Surat since February last. The visa is currently under investigation.

The Crime Branch team had received a write-up that prostitution was taking place at a spa in the Ambrosia business hub near the Surgeon's Palace on the Vesu VIP Road. Based on the information, the police sent a customer to the spa. Where they were first discussed about massage and the entire poll opened in some time. The police immediately took the manager into custody.

Police have taken custody of manager Devendra Murlidhar Dave and employee Kailash Badri Yadav. The police traced him to two foreign women found in the spa. Another spa staff Sunil Deepak Kher is currently absconding. The police investigation revealed that the arrested manager and staff were on the job for the last two months. The women caught are from Thailand. Both came to Surat in February 2020. These women were working in different spas. The Umrah police have started the investigation of the incident. The police are examining the visa and the money transactions are also under investigation.
