On Independence Day, the people of Surat waved tricolour in Mecca

New Delhi: Millions of Muslims in the country visit Mecca and Madina every year to perform Hajj, but this time a video of the pilgrims has surfaced. The video is going quite viral on social media. In this video, some Muslim tricolours in Mecca are seen shouting Hindustan Zindabad slogans in hand. The video is reported to be August 15.

On the occasion of Independence Day, people who went to perform Haj waved tricolour in Mecca and shouted slogans of Hindustan Zindabad. This video is used in Gujarati language and is a native of Surat in Gujarat. In fact, 50 people from Hathoda village, which came under the Keim area of Surat, had gone for Haj, including Qutubuddin of the village itself. They shouted slogans of Hindustan Zindabad in Mecca to mark the Independence Day and waved the national flag of the country. Qutubuddin had made the video and sent it to his relatives surat, which later went viral on social media.

Qutubuddin's brother Zuber says, "My brother along with other 50 people from the village also went on Haj. On the occasion of Independence Day, he waved tricolour and prayed for unity in the country.
