Actress Surekha Sikri, who won the National Award for her grandmother's role in Bollywood's superhit film Badhaai Ho, is battling a disease. You may have seen Surekha Sikri in the TV show Balika Vadhu. Shashank Vyas, who played Jagia, who appeared with her on the show, has shared some of her photos and you can see she looks quite weak.

In fact, she recently reported that she had a paralysis attack due to a stroke last year and in a recent interview, Surekha Sikri said: "I had a brain stroke in November last year. I fell while shooting. Since then, my body has been recovering. My medical condition is constantly improving," she said

During that time, Surekha added: "Badhaai Ho was released in October and a month later I had this stroke. It also caused me to have a mild paralysis attack. I couldn't eat much. This caused me to lose weight significantly. My family is looking after me.'" she also told everyone about her upcoming project and said, "I have signed a short film with Zoya Akhtar. It's a very exciting project that I'll start shooting soon," she said.
