USA: Microsoft today made the Surface Pro 9 official at the company's Surface October event. The latest product from Microsoft brings a slew of new features, including an improved processor and some new colors.

Additionally, the Surface Pro 9 is available with both Intel and Arm processors. Microsoft has added a 5G variant with the Microsoft SQ 3, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon, in addition to the 12th generation Intel i5 and i7 options.

Surface Pro 9. price and reach

Today Microsoft unveiled two variants of the Surface Pro 9. From the beginning of this month, customers will be able to buy both the variants. For those who are interested in buying the new Surface model, pre-orders for the tablet are currently open.

The 12th generation Intel i5 with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant with Surface Pro 9 Wi-Fi will start at $999.99 (approximately Rs. Will be together Starts at $1,599.99. (approx Rs 1,31,600).

However, the above RAM and storage options cost $100 more expensive (about Rs 8,200) for commercial use with 12th generation Intel i5 and i7 processors.

On the other hand, the Surface Pro 9 5G models are relatively expensive, with the consumer model's price of 8GB RAM + 128GB storage starting at $1,299.99 (roughly Rs.1,06,900) and the business model starting at $1,399.99. (about Rs 1,15,100).

There are plenty of color options available for the Surface Pro 9 Wi-Fi model, including Platinum, Graphite, Sapphire and One, while Platinum will be available for the 5G model.

Surface Pro 9 Specifications 

The addition of both Intel and Arm-based processors on the Surface Pro 9 represents the biggest improvement compared to its predecessors. Surface Pro 9 with 5G, which uses Microsoft SQ3 processor, is an option for users, as well as Surface Pro 9 Wi-Fi model with Intel processor.

Qualcomm guarantees that the Microsoft SQ3 will outperform the Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 by 85% in terms of CPU performance and over 60% in terms of GPU performance. The tablet will come with Windows 11 Home operating system for personal use and Windows 11 Pro for business use.

While the 5G variant may support 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, the Wi-Fi model has up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. A 13-inch PixelSense Flow display with a resolution of 2880 x 1920 pixels and a dynamic refresh rate of up to 120Hz is available on the Surface Pro 9.

While the Surface Pro 9 5G variant can support Intel Wi-Fi 6e, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, Beidou, NanoSIM and eSIM, the Surface Pro 9 Wi-Fi variant supports Intel Wi-Fi 6e and Bluetooth 5.1. does.

According to Microsoft, the Surface Pro 9 with Intel 12th Gen has up to 15.5 hours of battery life, while the Surface Pro 9 5G with up to 19 hours of battery life. Both variants have a 10-megapixel, autofocus, rear-facing camera.
