The wait is over for the fans, as Suriya 40 first look will be revealed on July 22, on the eve of the actor's birthday. Currently referred to as Suriya 40, the film bankrolled by Sun Pictures went on floors in March this year. The announcement was made by the production house along with a pre-look teaser featuring a silhouette shot of Suriya.

Photos of the actor from the sets actioning with a handgun, which were released a few months ago, teased that the film might be on the lines of Pandiraj's suspense thriller Kathakali. Let us tell you that Surya's next release is 'Soorarai Pottru' directed by Sudha Kongara and costarring Aparna Balamurali, Mohan Babu, Jackie Shroff, and Paresh Rawal.
The Suriya 40 will feature Priyanka Arul Mohan, Sathyaraj, Saranya Ponvannan, Devadarshini, Jayaprakash, and Ilavarasu. While Rathnavelu has been roped in as the cinematographer, this project marks composer Imman's first collaboration with Suriya. Meanwhile, Suriya also has Vaadivaasal with Vetri Maaran. This project is expected to go on floors once Suriya 40 is wrapped up.
