Coronavirus suspect found in Leh, admitted in SNM hospital

Jammu: Due to the increasing strength of Corona, day by day, many people have died due to this disease. Today, this virus is becoming a threat to human life. The health of the 36-year-old patient admitted to the isolation ward of SNM Hospital, Leh is being monitored. He suffers from pneumonia and acute respiratory distress syndrome. The symptoms of her suffering are similar to the symptoms of coronavirus. Samples of the patient have been sent for examination. Another 55-year-old male patient at the hospital was referred to Delhi from Leh Hospital on Friday. He also had a complaint of acute respiratory distress syndrome.

According to Health Director Ladakh Dr. Funsug Angchuk, a 52-year-old citizen of Phyang village has died in SNM Hospital Leh. He was suffering from pulmonary tuberculosis. He was admitted to the hospital on 27 January last year after complaining of cough, trouble in breathing and fever, but died during treatment. This patient and his family members had no history of moving from Ladakh to any other place recently.

It is also being said that another 55-year-old male patient, resident of Chinathang village, was admitted to the SNM hospital on 11 February. He was suffering from acute respiratory distress syndrome. He was referred to Delhi on Friday due to a problem with oxygen. According to the health directorate, the report of three victims has come negative. A report is yet to come. Vigilance has been increased in Jammu and Kashmir about the coronavirus. There is a special focus on suspected patients.
