Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput hanged himself in his Mumbai home on June 14. There are reports that Sushant was in depression for 6 months. Some people have been bullying actress Ankita Lokhande, Rhea since Sushant's death. Tarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah actress Munmun Dutta has shared her opinion about the behaviour of people on social media. Munmun wrote- "This epidemic has affected even the most resilient people. It has given rise to some serious mental health issues. But I am more surprised by our human behaviour on social media."
"Insensitive, hurtful and vulgar comments are being made for Rhea Chakraborty, Kriti Sanon and Ankita Lokhande since yesterday. It shows how dirty our society is and how toxic people are on social media. These girls and members of Sushant Singh's family and close friends themselves are already so upset and these people are bothering them with their poisonous comments. Who are these poisonous people? Were you closer to Sushant than any of them? You only knew him through his work. These girls and other people have shared their moments of life with him".
"So don't teach them how to show grief." Munmun further wrote- "Such behaviour should be made completely illegal and punishable. Those people forget that celebrities are humans and such toxic, vulgar, insensitive Comments pose a great danger to people mentally. Sushant's death is a great shock for the whole country and it has exposed the huge problem of depression which is often ignored or it is not talked about due to sheer ignorance or insensitivity to illness or any other mental illness. Please be sensitive to all."
