Now recently, he has taken a big decision, intensifying the demand for CBI inquiry in this case. He tweeted that he has told that he will go to Patna to meet Singh's family and there he will also meet Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and to get justice for Sushant. He wrote, "Im going to my hometown Patna to meet Sushant's father and pay my respect to him and the CM Shri Nitish Kumar and all the admirers and fans of Sushant to press upon".

Apart from Shekhar Suman, Roopa Ganguly also demanded a CBI inquiry in Sushant case. In her tweet, she wrote, "What I hear and I see seems inconclusive and rushed about labelling the passing of Sushant as a suicide. We should probe deeper, CBI should be conducting the investigation".
