He has said in his statement that, "He was hired by Sushant's sister Priyanka and her husband Siddharth at work and his job was to handle Sushant's staff and give them their salaries. Once, there was a fight between Sushant's sister Priyanka and Sushant over something and then in anger, Priyanka and Siddharth went to Delhi". Apart from this, Samuel also said that "In the year 2019 itself, Rhea had started coming to Sushant's house and on seeing this, Rhea's brother and father also started coming to Sushant's house. Rhea often used to have parties to keep Sushant busy but sometimes Sushant did not become part of those parties and he kept himself locked in the room and did not come out of the room".

Samuel revealed, "He came to know from the staff working at Sushant's house used to say that there was some negative energies at his place and that is why Sushant used to cry and many times it would happen that he would go to his room and come out and hug Hanuman Ji's idol and go back to his room".
