Patna: A war has broken out in Bihar over the by-elections to be held on the Mokama seat. In such a situation, today i.e. on Sunday, Sushil Modi attacked Nitish Kumar fiercely regarding Kartik Singh. In fact, Sushil Modi says that the Nitish government is helping him. Nitish Kumar has given him a free hand to roam in the by-election area. Simultaneously, Sushil Modi retaliated on his statement, taking a dig at SSP Patna. He said, 'How can the lower court stay the arrest of Kartik Singh.' With this, Sushil Modi has spoken of going to the High Court in this matter.
He said that when Kartik Singh was an accused in the kidnapping case, Nitish Kumar made him a minister. He was kept as a minister for a month. After this, when the allegations were levelled against him and he resigned, he was absconding and roaming freely in Bihar. Bihar Police was not able to arrest him. With this, Patna SSP retaliated and said, 'Now the SSP is saying that the lower court has stayed the arrest. How can any lower court stay such an arrest? If the Patna High Court rejected his bail plea, then how can the lower court stay? If so, the court has been deceived. Patna High Court should take cognizance of all these things.
With this, Sushil Modi angrily said, 'We will go to the Election Commission with all these complaints. There is a by-election in Mokama and Kartik Singh is roaming around the area of ​​Mokama with a possible RJD candidate. Further Modi also said, 'Does an absconding MLA, a former minister have the right to roam in the constituency? If the government continues to help in this way, then the election may be affected. All these things will be taken up to the Election Commission. Also, if needed, will also go to the High Court.' On the other hand, the SSP wrote a letter on Sunday and said, 'A lot of news is floating around regarding the arrest of former minister Kartik Singh. Our Prosecution Officer Ajay Kumar, (JMIC Danapur) is representing the state in the court. I am telling the situation through them at present.
Apart from this, the SSP said that the bailable warrant issued against Kartik Singh on September 1 has been returned to the court after the expiry of the period. The application was given for the release of the next process. During this, Kartik Singh applied for anticipatory bail in the Patna High Court. Let us tell you that on the basis of this application, the court of JMIC Danapur accepted his plea to suspend the proceedings.
Said that 'proceedings will remain adjourned till the anticipatory bail petition of the former minister is disposed of by the Patna High Court.' At present no warrant has been issued against him, so Kartik Singh cannot be arrested. Let us also tell you that the SSP said that there will be a hearing on October 12 in the High Court regarding his arrest and warrant. During this many instructions will be given.
