Mumbai: The Congress, the country's oldest political party, is going through a critical situation these days. Nowadays, the party is facing the wrath of its own leaders. In fact, many senior party leaders seem to be unhappy with the party's current functioning. Recently, senior party leader Sushil Kumar Shinde has also questioned the party's policies. Not only that, but he has also hit out at the party high command. At the same time, he has also advised the party to correct its policies. First, the former Union Home Minister said, "The tradition of debating and communicating in the Congress earlier is now completely over. I am saddened by the change in the party.''

At the same time, he said, "It is very important to have a meeting for introspection. Our policies may be wrong but such sessions are very much needed to correct those mistakes. Not only that, but he also spoke to the national party about sidelined himself." He said, ''There was a time ago when my words and my instructions were important, but I can't say anything about today. I don't know if my words are prominent today. Congress is slowly losing the culture of its ideology.''

He also said, "There was a time when the party used to organize camps and workshops from time to time. There were meetings and it was considered what the policies of the party should be and where the party is going, but nothing happens now.'' If you all remember, earlier senior Congress leaders like Ghulam Nabi Azad, Kapil Sibal, Veerappa Moily, and Anand Sharma have also raised questions about the working style.
