In such a situation, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan has made a big announcement. He has said that 'Statue of Sushma Swaraj will be installed in Vidisha'. On Sunday, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Sushma Swaraj, Shivraj Singh Chouhan paid tributes to the late BJP leader at his residence in the presence of some state ministers and senior party leaders. During this time, he said, 'Sushma Swaraj's contribution to the development of Vidisha is incomparable. A statue will be installed in Vidisha's town hall.'
You all must know that in the Lok Sabha elections of 2009 and 2014, Swaraj won from Vidisha, located about 58 km from Bhopal. She died at the age of 67 on 6 August 2019. On Sunday, Protem Speaker of Madhya Pradesh Assembly Rameshwar Sharma, Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang, and other BJP leaders also paid tribute to her.
