Recently, two Union Cabinet ministers were featured in two striking photographs. The news is big because the ministers were the only women among a sea of men in India. They were their equivalents from a host of other countries. The ministers who have been the part are Sushma Swaraj, minister of external affairs and Nirmala Sitharaman, minister of defence.

Social media platforms are flooded with many positive comments about the two photographs. Even the Indian Railway minister Piyush Goyal couldn't help but comment on them.

In his tweet, Piyush Goyal featuring photograph said, "Where Women are honoured - There Divinity blossoms',". Goyal further tweeted, "Indian women Ministers shine at all-male SCO Foreign & Defense ministers meeting!"

Swaraj's photograph with her male equivalents has been taken in the meeting held in Beijing. The meeting was held under Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Foreign Ministers' meet. Apart the picture of Sitharaman has been captured in the recent Defence Ministers meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation. In this snapshot, you can also see Sitharaman with her male counterparts.

The SCO or Shanghai Cooperation Organisation is an international alliance. The organization consists of eight member states and three observers from Eurasia. SCO was established on April 26, 1996, as the Shanghai Five. Of the eight member states and three guards, the SCO currently also has three dialogue partners and three guest attendance entries.
