Suspected death of married woman in Jammu, maiden accuses her in-laws

Jammu: A case of suspicious death of a woman has been reported in Chhani Himmat area of Jammu city. The maternal have accused the in-laws of murder. The father of the deceased is in America. The relatives have alleged that the daughter-in-law had demanded Rs one million from them. Murdered on receipt of no money. The police has started investigating the case.

Ashok Mehra, brother of the deceased woman, has blamed that his sister Jiya Bharti was very much worried. Seeing the condition of the dead body, it seems to be a case of murder. Ashok said in his statement that there are marks on the faces of sister's husband and father-in-law as well. It is clear that his sister has been murdered.

Explaining further, he said that the father is in America these days. The father-in-law of the deceased was calling America and was demanding a million rupees from him. The deceased also has a three-year-old child. She could never take such a step. On the phone call from America, the father of the deceased said that the girl's father-in-law had called and demanded a million rupees from him. The incident has been carried out due to non-receipt of money. While giving information about the case, Chhani Himmat police said in their statement that the post-mortem of the dead body has been done. Only after the post-mortem report, the real cause of death will be known. At present, the cause of death has not been known, all the cases are being investigated by the police, and only after the investigation will be certain.
