New Delhi: After the corona epidemic, the terrible dengue havoc has now added to the woes of the people. Many states across the country are reeling under the brunt of dengue. Uttar Pradesh is the most affected state in the country. Several deaths due to mysterious fever have been reported in the Firozabad district in recent times. In Bengal too, mysterious fever has caught children, forcing hundreds of people to be admitted to hospitals. Medical teams are investigating cases that are said to be spread every year due to changing weather conditions. State governments suffering from viral fever and dengue have started investigations and taken other steps to control the serious situation.
Uttar Pradesh:- More than 1,500 cases of dengue and viral fever have been reported from various districts of Uttar Pradesh, the worst affected state in the country. Areas of Central UP, Bundelkhand, and Western UP have been badly affected. So far, 61 people have lost their lives in Firozabad. The situation in hospitals of more than 450 people in the district is inadequate. So far 97 dengue-viral cases have been reported from Prayagraj. Cases have also been registered from Agra, Ghaziabad, and Noida.
West Bengal:- In two hospitals in North Bengal, 172 children have been admitted due to fever and other diseases. Out of these, 67 children have so far been admitted to the pediatric ward of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital, while many have been discharged.
Madhya Pradesh:- In Madhya Pradesh, 22 new dengue cases have been reported from Indore, taking the total number of infected people to 225 this year. In the state capital Bhopal, six fresh dengue cases have been reported, taking a total of 107 since January. In other affected districts, 22 cases have been registered in Rajgarh so far. 95 cases have been reported in Gwalior and 15 other cases in Chambal.
