Kolkata: Assembly elections are going to be held in West Bengal but before that politics has started here. Meanwhile, the ruling party of the state, Trinamool Congress (TMC), has been suffering one after another. Earlier, the party's MLA Suvendu Adhikari has left the party. Now another minister in Mamata Banerjee's cabinet has launched a scathing attack on its own party.

Suvendu resigned from the cabinet a few days ago. In this order, attacking the leadership of his party, Bengal Forest Minister Rajib Banerjee said on Saturday, 'I really feel hurt when I see those who are corrupt, those that are dishonest being brought to the fore front just because they are sycophants, this is the era of sycophancy!' He also said, 'Those who are capable, efficient are not getting what they deserve. This hurts me. Thus, at such times I feel I should come out and protest with the people. '

He said, 'Today, time is ripe to unite against those faces that are no more acceptable to the people people are no longer accepting such leaders at the forefront. So people have united to raise voice against them.' Further, Rajib Banerjee said, 'If we can all come together, I am confident that we will be able to teach such people a good lesson. When the time is ripe, people will teach them what is right and what was wrong. You can fool people for some time, but not forever. Many people think that all is useless in politics. But for me, politics is all about people. Many people have turned away from politics due to the entry of corrupt people. Today, youth have a misconception about politics.'
