In fact, Suvendu Adhikari has given this statement in Muchipara, Behala on Saturday. He called Mamata Banerjee an "outsider" on the Nandigram seat here and said, "He is" 200 percent "confident of defeating Banerjee." Along with this, he also alleged that 'Mamata Banerjee is avoiding contesting from Kolkata's Bhawanipur seat. The BJP has fielded Banerjee's cabinet colleague from the Nandigram seat in East Midnapore, from where the Chief Minister is also tapping.'

He said all these things during a rally held in Behala area of Kolkata. Here he targeted Mamata Banerjee and said, "Why did you leave your Bhawanipur seat? Why did you run away from there? Is it because the BJP won the 2019 Lok Sabha elections at the booth of the Mitra Institute? You can't even win in your region." With this, she also said, "I defeated Laxman Seth in Nandigram. This time I will beat Hon (Banerjee). He is outsider to Nandigram while I am the Bhoomiputra of the region.''
