Pehredaar Piya Ki is going off air, this news has been confirmed by the channel. Suyyash Rai who was playing an important role in the show opens up on this news.

"I heard, I heard and probably it's true but I haven't received any confirmation from the team. I had no idea, so I spoke to the producer and Tejaswi last night so they told me they will confirm by today. It is a very sad thing, for the producer, for the cast for everybody connected to the show, especially the technician team, the spot dada, the makeup and hair people," Suyyash said.

The actor added, "When something like this happens overnight it's a very sad thing, but I don't know because all this while I wasn't shooting but definitely the other actors will have to face the brunt. But also knowing the team Sony, the producers, they definitely do something about this, they won't let it just go. I am waiting to see what they do."
