Actress Gayatri Joshi, known for her role in the Bollywood movie "Swades," and her spouse, Vikas Oberoi, were involved in a tragic road incident while in Italy. The unfortunate incident resulted in the loss of an elderly Swiss couple's lives as their vehicle burst into flames following the collision.

According to reports, the accident unfolded when a Lamborghini and the Swiss couple's Ferrari attempted to overtake a camper van simultaneously. This maneuver led to the Ferrari catching fire, while the camper van overturned. Multiple vehicles were involved in the collision, which occurred during the Sardinia Supercar Tour, where luxury cars paraded from Teulada to Olbia.
"Gayatri and Her Husband Are Unharmed"
Gayatri, in an interview with The Free Press Journal, confirmed that she and her husband emerged from the accident without injuries and are in good health. She expressed gratitude, saying, "With the grace of God, both of us are perfectly fine."

Gayatri's Journey from "Swades"
Gayatri, who won the Femina Miss India International title in 2000, marked her Bollywood debut in Ashutosh Gowariker's critically acclaimed film "Swades" in 2004. Her portrayal of Geeta alongside Shah Rukh Khan earned her numerous accolades. However, she chose to step away from the entertainment industry shortly thereafter, marrying Vivek Oberoi in 2005. The couple shares two children.
