Lucknow: Swami Prasad Maurya, who was a minister in up's Yogi cabinet for 5 years, has now started targeting the UP government as well as the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) after resigning from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). In his tweet, Swami called RSS a snake and the BJP a snake. Not only that, Swami Maurya has also described himself as a weasel.
 
Swami Prasad Maurya tweeted, 'Nag Rupi RSS and Snake Roopi BJP will die only after eliminating Swami Rupi Weasel from UP.'  Swami Maurya resigned as a minister in the Yogi cabinet on January 11, then withdrew from the BJP. Swamy's latest tweet comes at a time when the BJP is in a state of a spate of resignations. So far, 8 sitting BJP MLA have left the party. He has not clarified which party Swami Prasad Maurya will go to now. Swamy had earlier said that suspense over this should remain intact right now. January 14 i.e. tomorrow he will announce it. It is being reported that Swami Prasad Maurya may go to samajwadi party (SP).

The arrest warrant has also been issued against Maurya in a seven-year-old case on Wednesday. On the question of issuing arrest warrants, Swami Prasad had said let the warrant come. I respect the judicial process. I will face whatever process is there. I have also been a high court lawyer.
