New Delhi: Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Uttar Pradesh Police has arrested former Union Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Chinmayanand. According to Chinmayanand's lawyer Pooja Singh, Chinmayanand was arrested from his residence 'Divya Dham'. Chinmayanand has been accused of sexual exploitation by a student of law. The accused student has recently given a PenDrive to the Special Investigation Team (SIT) as evidence, in which more than 40 videos are stored.

Investigating the case, the SIT claims that Chinmayanand has accepted all the allegations and also admitted that he had called the victim girl for massage. In the inquiry, Chinmayanand has said that "I feel ashamed of my act". Giving information, UP DGP OP Singh has told that after the order of the Supreme Court, we formed a team of SIT and arrested Chinmayanand.
