Jewellery brand Tanishq is currently a part of the discussions due to its ad affair. Tanishq is being talked about everywhere. Tanishq featured something in its latest ad which caused it to troll and had to withdraw its ad. In this new ad video, Tanishq had shown a Hindu girl as the daughter-in-law of a Muslim family and since then people started accusing it of promoting love jihad. The brand was trolled gradually on Twitter and that is why Tanishq finally removed its ad. With its ad removed, the brand issued a statement declaring its stand.

Tanishq wrote, 'We are saddened by the hurt of the feelings of the people and are removing Ad'. Now many famous celebrities have come in support of the brand on this matter. The list includes names like Javed Akhtar, Swara Bhaskar and Soni Razdan. Recently, Swara endorsed Tanishq, saying that the brand should not have done so.
