New Delhi: The fast unto death of Swati Maliwal, chairperson of the Delhi Commission for Women, is continuing at the Samata site near Rajghat, with several demands including the execution of the sentence within 6 months in the rape cases. In medical tests, her weight has reduced by 3 kg. Doctors say that her health is starting to weaken now.

On Saturday, doctors found her body weight to be 60.4 kg, while blood pressure 130/70 and pulse 100 were recorded. Doctors say that Swati Maliwal has lost about 3.1 kg. On Saturday, Swati Maliwal reached Samadhi of Mahatma Gandhi in a wheelchair from Samta Sthal. Since the first day of the fast unto death, she reached the mausoleum every morning, paying tribute to Bapu, fighting for the safety of women in the country.
