New Delhi: Delhi Women's Commission Chairman Swati Maliwal's hunger strike at Samta Sthal near Rajghat continues on Tuesday for the 10th day. Swati has lost more than 5 kg weight since she started her fast. Meanwhile, women have started marching from Rajghat to Parliament in support of Swati Maliwal.

The police started barricading near Feroze Shah Kotla and tried to stop the march in the middle, then the women started throwing bangles at the Delhi Police. The police is busy in strictly dealing with the protesters. Swati Maliwal's fast has entered the 10th day on Thursday. Women from all over the country are reaching Rajghat every day in support of her. She is also getting tremendous support on social media.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh gave notice on Tuesday to raise the demands of Swati Maliwal during the Zero Hour of the Upper House. In the notice, she has written that Swati Maliwal, chairperson of the Delhi Women's Commission, has been on a fast unto death for 8 days and is demanding the hanging of rape convicts.
