New Delhi: In the next two weeks, food delivery company Swiggy wants to expand its new membership programme 'Swiggy One' to 500 cities. On November 19, the new membership programme went online in four cities: Lucknow, Pune, Trivandrum, and Vijayawada.

Swiggy ONE and its grocery delivery service Instamart both provide unlimited free deliveries from restaurants. The subscription costs Rs 299 for the first three months and Rs 899 for the entire year. In August, Zomato, a competitor, released Zomato Pro Plus, which promises unlimited free deliveries. Swiggy's other services, such as its pick-up and drop-off service Genie and Meat shops, would receive more discounts and perks in the coming months, according to the Bengaluru-based business.

"With an aim to provide consumers with unrivalled convenience, we've developed and expanded our meal delivery, express groceries, and other services. Swiggy One, which was just introduced, combines all of these convenience features into a single membership plan, providing frequent Swiggy users with significant financial savings and perks "Swiggy's SVP Revenue and Growth, Anuj Rathi, said in a statement.
