Srinagar: Sunday market was not allowed due to the deteriorating health of separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani in Jammu and Kashmir. The police asked the shopkeepers to keep the shops closed and the security system has been strengthened further. In fact, for the past few days, many types of rumors are being spread on social media about Gilani's health.

Due to these rumors, now the Jammu and Kashmir administration has also blocked the social media being operated with the help of Virtual Private Network (VPN) on mobile internet services. After which all VPN apps are not working. The deployment of CRPF near Geelani's residence has also been removed and only a few policemen have been kept inside Gilani's house on their security.

Meanwhile, Naeem Gilani, son of Syed Ali Shah Geelani, has said that Gilani's health is very critical and he is being examined by a senior team on behalf of doctors and his treatment is on. Let us tell you that Syed Ali Shah Geelani, 90 years old, has been under house arrest for many years and his health is being said to be very fragile for the last few months.
