Kashmir woman officer responds to allegations of Shehla Rashid on army

Srinagar: After Section 370 was removed, the government imposed strict restrictions in Jammu and Kashmir for peace. That has been criticized by the opposing side. Among the hardliners of the Modi government, Shehla Rashid had made serious allegations against the army and the government over the situation in Kashmir. The statement was made by Syed Sehrish Asghar, Director, Information Public Relations Department of Jammu and Kashmir on his allegations. He made it clear that there has been no such incident occurred in the valley.

Asghar said that no major incident has taken place in the valley regarding law and order situation. Life is getting back to normal. People are cooperating a lot. He said the rumor sparked by some people on Sunday, after which the government urged people not to believe any such rumor. Syed Seharish Asghar said that there was no law and order incident in Jammu. Shehla is a resident of Kashmir.

She alleged that the army and police are entering the houses of ordinary citizens and they are being persecuted. She accused the security forces in Shopian of forcibly detaining and harassing some people. Shehla Rashid's tweets have also been termed as baseless by the Army. A criminal complaint has been lodged against her in the apex court. Her arrest has also been sought.
