New Delhi: Team India has made a great start to its mission this time in the T20 World Cup 2022. India made a winning start by beating Australia in the first warm-up match. But, before the World Cup, Team India had to face a lot of problems. Firstly, star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the tournament due to a back injury. After this, Deepak Chahar, who was injured at the time, also had to be out.

In such a situation, Team India included veteran pacer Mohammed Shami in the team as a replacement for Bumrah. Shami also showed his sharpness in the very first practice match. He took 3 wickets in a single over to win the warm-up match for India. Now legend Sachin Tendulkar has also praised Shami. He has termed Shami as the perfect replacement for Bumrah. Master Blaster has said that Shami has proved himself. He is the perfect alternative to Bumrah. However, Sachin, who scored 100 centuries in international cricket, has also said that Bumrah being out of the team is a big loss for the team.

Talking to the media, Sachin has said, 'Bumrah is not with the team, it is a big loss. We needed a strike bowler. Such a fast and sharp bowler, who can attack the batsmen and take wickets. Shami has proved this. He looks to be the perfect replacement for Bumrah.'
