Zee5 is going to bring you a great sports drama original film, 'Rashmi Rocket.' The film stars talented Taapsee Pannu. The film is directed by Aakarsh Khurana and the film is based on Rashmi, an incredibly fast runner and dreams of crossing the finish line and winning praise for her country. It is only in no time that she discovers that the finish line race is full of many obstacles and that even if it sounds like an athletic competition, she turns into her personal battle for respect and even her identity. The issue shown in the film is the issue of gender testing in sports.

Talking about the issue of gender testing in sports recently, Taapsee Pannu said, "I met Nanda, who had the story of this film. She made a very beautiful AV of the story for my reference. When I saw it, I was shocked because I like watching sports and love to follow them, but still, I had no knowledge of the issue of gender testing that the film highlights. I had to google it. I was completely shocked to know the details about this particular issue."

Highlighting this, on the other hand, Priyanshu Penuli, who plays Taapsee's partner in the film, says, "I came to know about the issue of gender testing through Rashmi Rocket. During the shoot, I checked with my director Aakarsh whether we were taking creative liberty for the film or it was really happening and I was surprised to know that this was really happening. We are hoping that through our film this issue will be taken to a large section of society.'' The trailer of this film has been loved a lot. Apart from Taapsee, the film also stars Supriya Pathak, Abhishek Banerjee, Manoj Joshi and Supriya Pilgaonkar in lead roles. The film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Neha Anand and Pranjal Khandia, written by Nanda Periasamy, Anirudh Guha and Kanika Dhillon and directed by Akarsh Khurana.
