TV's popular comedy serial 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' has been continuously entertaining the audience since 2008. This comedy serial features more than one role. There are many stories related to this television serial, which has been a constant audience favourite for the last 12 years, which people are rarely aware of. Today we are going to tell you one such story which is related to Amit Bhatt who plays Bapu Ji in this serial.

Tell you that Amit was supposed to be shown bald in Bapuji's character while in real life the actor has very thick hair on his head. The makers of the show had then asked Amit Bhatt to wear a wig. However, to revive his character, Amit told the makers that he would get his head shaved so that it would not look artificial. According to media reports, Amit used to have his head shaved every second and third day in connection with his role.

He did the same about 283 times. The result was that the actor had a serious skin infection on his head in the process of repeated shaving. This had left the makers worried about Amit. Then, to get rid of this problem, the makers of 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' took out a plane and started wearing a Gandhi hat to Bapuji.
