Senior actor Ghanshyam Nayak aka Nattu Kaka has been in 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' from the get-go. He has a special place in the serial. These days he is admitted in the hospital. He underwent neck surgery this week. He talked about it in a media interview.

In the discussion with the media, he said "Now I'm fine. I was admitted to Suchak Hospital in Malad. I underwent surgery on Monday. The first 3 days were very difficult. But now I am looking forward to life". There was a lump in the throat of Ghanshyam which was removed immediately after surgery. He further said "Eight bales were removed from my neck, I really do not know how this happened. I have faith in God".

Actor Ghanshyam further said that many of his colleagues of Tarak Mehta called him and asked about his health. The actor said - "They are waiting for me to come back to the set. But after being discharged from the hospital, I have been advised a 1-month rest. So, I don't think I will be shooting again till at least Navratri." Ghanshyam Nayak has been associated with the show 'Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma' for twelve years. Ghanshyam Nayak was very sad when the Maharashtra government banned actors shooting above 65 years due to corona infection.
