Latest report suggest that  that the actress has been approached for a role in the film and the actress is thinking about the role. If this materialises, this will be Tabu's comeback in Tollywood after more than a decade.

Tabu has acted in quite a few Telugu films like Ninne Pelladatha, Andarivaadu, Aavida Maavide and Coolie No 1. Tabu hails from Hyderabad and has close connections with actors and filmmakers in Telugu. In fact, Tabu was being considered to play a key role in Akhil Akkineni's second film Hello! which went on to become a decent success. She has acted in quite a few films in Telugu and Tamil alongside top stars like Nagarjuna, Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh. In Telugu, Tabu was last seen in Pandurangadu which starred Balakrishna in the titular role and hasn't since appeared in a film in Tollywood.

Talking about the film, the film is rumoured to be titled Nanna…Nenu and is said to depict father-son relationship. The previous two collaborations of Arjun and Trivikram, Julaayi and S/O Satyamurthy, both had similar subjects
