New Delhi: If you want to start your business with government assistance, you have a great opportunity till December 15. Thereafter, the special discount on interest on this loan will be discontinued. In fact, those who want to start their employment with the new scheme can realize their dreams by taking a loan under the Mudra Yojana. The Modi government launched the Mudra Scheme on April 8, 2015. Loans are provided to the youth of the country from unguaranteed banks under the PM Mudra Scheme so that they can become job givers. There are three types of loans given in the mudra scheme. Shishu Mudra loan (up to Rs. 50,000), Kishore Mudra Loan (Rs. 50,001 to Rs. 5 lakh), and Tarun Mudra Loan (Rs. 5,00,001 to Rs. 10 lakh).

The highest number of infant loans have been disbursed under the Mudra scheme in the same country. About 88 percent of infant loans have been given. A maximum loan of Rs. 50,000 is received under the infant loan. Small traders, in particular, are availing of this scheme. Therefore, there is a provision of special exemption on this loan so far. The last date is December 15.

According to information provided on the Pradhan Mantri mudra portal, the government has made December 15 the last date for beneficiaries of the 2 percent interest subvention scheme. PMMY portal will be closed for interest subvention scheme (ISS) claim from December 31, 2021. In such a case, infant borrowers will not be contenders for the 2 percent interest subvention scheme after December 15. Significantly, PMMY is a national mission aimed at providing loans to generate self-employment and encouraging small businesses to create jobs. A maximum loan of up to Rs. 10 lakh is received under this scheme.
