It was recently reported that the film will start shooting in February next year. Now Karan Johar has shown a glimpse of the star cast of 'Takht' on Instagram. Karan is currently gearing up for this historic film in his new office. A number of stars are coming together and what stars will appear, as well as the names of their characters.

Karan will once again appear as a director with the film. The film will be based on the Mughal period. Vicky Kaushal is said to be appearing in Aurangzeb, Ranveer Singh, his brother Dara Shikoh, Kareena Kapoor Jahanara, Anil Kapoor Shah Jahan, Alia as Ranvir's wife, Bhumi as Vicky's wife and Jahanvi as a Mughal maid. The film will be shot next year and may extend its release date.
