A court in Jharkhand's Chaibasa has sentenced six persons to life imprisonment in a rape case involving a minor girl. This decision of the court is so strict and severe that they convicted all 6 criminals to keep them in jail until their last breath. That is, the six rapists who raped a minor girl will now have to rot in jail till death.

The convicts who have been sentenced include Mahendra Bankira, Vijay Bankira, Chandan Hansda, Rajkumar Tanti, Raokan Kerai, and Chunmun Kerai. Apart from this, a fine of ten thousand rupees has also been imposed on all the criminals. The incident took place in West Singhbhum district's Toklo police station area. In 2020, a girl was gang-raped by six men here. This story of cruelty to an innocent child shocked people. This was the period in the year 2020 when the lockdown was imposed for the first time in the country due to Corona.

During this lockdown, the parents of a minor girl living in Toklo were stuck working in a brick kiln in Kolkata, West Bengal. Due to the strict decision of the central government and corona rules, the parents of the child could not return to their home even if they wanted to. A relative of the minor girl and her five friends took advantage of this in Toklo. On April 4, 2020, when the minor girl left her house to defecate in the evening, her relative forcibly caught her. After this, the relative and his five friends Mahendra Bankira, Vijay Bankira, Chandan Hansda, Rajkumar Tanti, Raokan Kerai and Chunmun Kerai took the girl to the nearby bushes and gang-raped her. After the rape, everyone threatened the girl not to tell anyone about the incident or else she would be killed. The girl spent a day choking but after that she informed her aunt about the incident. After this, the girl's aunt took the child along with her to Toklo police station and informed the police about the whole incident there.
