The Taliban-led government in Afghanistan has refuted an allegation made by Pakistani Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad that Islamabad was deploying advanced military equipment left over from NATO's presence in the war-torn nation against terror groups.

In an interview with Pakistani media, the Minister stated: "They (the Pakistani military) rely on NATO-supplied military hardware. The Afghan Taliban, in my opinion, made a significant effort to deter the Pakistani Taliban (TTP), but they do not comprehend. They are based in the provinces of Kunar, Nangarhar, Nuristan, Paktia, and Khost, all of which are located near the Durand Line, and they attack Pakistan. The attacks have becoming more frequent."

The Taliban also deny the presence of any group on Afghan turf, including the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, on Saturday, telling media that Afghan territory will not be used against any country.

"We assure and guarantee that no country is threatened by Afghan soil. Pakistan has a problem; it is their own internal crisis "Bilal Karimi, the Taliban's deputy spokesperson, stated.
