Kabul: The Taliban have warned the international community that the world should give recognization to Afghanistan if they do not want any threat from Afghans. At a press conference on Saturday, Taliban spokesman Zabeeullah Mujahid said he should be seen as a responsible party. The Taliban have announced the interim government after the occupation of Afghanistan, but it is still waiting for recognition from the international community.

Two months have passed since the Afghan occupation. But no other country except a select few countries like Pakistan and China is working to strengthen relations with the Taliban. At present, the international community is also taking care of the human rights situation in Afghanistan. It is now focusing on reducing the humanitarian crisis in the war-torn country. While Mujahid has spoken as a possible warning that the Taliban is not going to take any responsibility to avert threats from other countries unless they are recognized by the international fraternity.

Zabiullah Mujahid has said that international recognition is a bilateral requirement. The Taliban spokesman went on to say, "We fought against the United States earlier, because they did not recognize us in the past. If the Taliban are not recognized, it will only add to the woes of Afghans, the region and the world.'' Mujahid further claimed that the Taliban had fulfilled all conditions for its recognition and that the world would somehow recognize them. Mujahid also asked all countries to activate their diplomatic missions in Afghanistan.
