Kabul: The Taliban, which has captured nearly 80 percent of Afghanistan, have now started showing their cruel face back. The Taliban have killed 22 Afghan commandos mercilessly. The video of the massacre has also gone viral. The jawans surrendered before the Taliban and were unarmed, but the militants did not listen to them. They killed everyone by chanting 'Allahu Akbar.'

The incident, which took place on June 16, 2021, took place in Daulatabad in north Faryab province. Afghanistan's government had sent some selected US-trained troops to recapture the city, including the son of a former general. But, they were immediately surrounded. There was no air support or additional troops for them. The militants said that the jawans had run out of ammunition and weapons after which they were nabbed.

But, the video shows that the unarmed jawans were actually brutally killed. All the 22 jawans were asked to walk on the road with their hands raised, then there was a fierce firing. The Taliban has asked the government armed forces to vacate their bases and promised them a safe way home. The US has withdrawn its army from Afghanistan and the survivors are also being recalled.
