Kabul: PM Narendra Modi's words 'terror power does not last long,' do not go down well with the Taliban who captured Afghanistan with guns. The Taliban has taken these words as a challenge and said it will supersede. Replying to PM Modi's statement, a prominent leader of the terror outfit Shahabuddin Dilawar said India will soon see that the Taliban is capable of running the country properly. PM Narendra Modi, while inaugurating several development works related to Somnath temple, said this without naming the Taliban.

According to Dawn's report, the Taliban leader said in an interview to Radio Pakistan that India will soon know its ability to run the country. He also warned India not to interfere in Afghanistan's internal affairs. Shahabuddin Dilawar described Pakistan as a friendly country and thanked more than 3 million Afghans for providing shelter. He said the Taliban wants a peaceful and friendly relationship with each country.

PM Modi had said, 'The temple of Lord Somnath is a faith not only for India today but also for the whole world. The braking forces, which are the powerful thinking of terror, may dominate for a while in a period, but their existence is never permanent. They can't suppress humanity for long.' PM Modi's statement was linked to the Taliban occupation of Afghanistan.
