New Delhi: Girls have been banned from entering Jama Masjid in the national capital. This decree has been issued by the mosque administration. A plate of this decree has also been pasted on the wall of the mosque. The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) spokesperson has criticized the decision of the mosque administration. At the same time, the mosque administration has justified its decision. Jama Masjid is located near the Red Fort in Delhi's Chandni Chowk area.
pic.twitter.com/kcKbZg8GnY

According to the report, the order that girls should not enter here alone has been put up on 3 sides of the mosque. This order has been written in Hindi and Urdu. On these metal strips are written in black color, 'The entry of girls alone is prohibited in Jama Masjid'. This order has been given by the Jama Masjid Delhi office. Along with this, an e-mail ID named 'projmd2000@gmail.com' is also written in it. According to reports, this decision of the mosque administration is also being criticized in many places.
Shahnaz Afzal, a social activist from the Muslim community, has strongly opposed this decree and termed it unconstitutional. He has called it against the right to equality. Shahnaz says that this decision will not be accepted at all, because those who give such orders want to take away the right to equality for girls. At the same time, VHP spokesperson Vinod Bansal has also condemned this decision of the Jama Masjid administration.

VHP spokesperson Bansal wrote in a tweet, 'These Muslim fundamentalists, who have the mentality of making India Syria, are not even taking lessons from the incidents in Iran. This is India, where the government's slogan is 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao, Beti Badhao,' and women are prohibited in Jama Masjid.'
Such orders are also being seen in Afghanistan. After the Taliban took over Afghanistan, there has been a ban on women going alone to the park, as well as girls' education has been banned in many places. Surprisingly, all this is being done in the name of 'Islam', and organizations fighting for religious, and human rights and women around the world are silent. Now, this culture has started spreading in India as well, the example of which has been seen in the order of Jama Masjid.
