Veteran Tamil film actor Srikanth has passed away. He was 82 years old and passed away on Tuesday. Srikanth started his film career with J Jayalalithaa in the movie 'Vennira Aadai.' Since Srikanth's death, everyone in the Tamil industry has been shocked. Nadigar Sangam of the Artists Association has reported Srikanth's death through his social media account.

The same actor Rajinikanth has expressed grief by sharing a post on social media on Srikanth's death. He tweeted: "I am deeply saddened by the death of my best friend Srikanth. May God give peace to his soul.'' Srikanth has worked in several movies in his 40-year career. He has also played the villain with the hero in several films. Srikanth's first film was directed by CV Sridhar.

The same Srikanth has worked with many stars from Tamil cinema. He has appeared in a supporting role with this. He has worked with Shivaji Ganesan, Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. His memorable roles include the role of the rebellious son of a tough police officer, played by Ganesan in the 1974 superhit Thangappathakkam. He was seen playing the villain in the film Bairavi alongside Rajinikanth.
