Well-known film director Balamithran of Tollywood and Tamil films is a veteran artist. He is often known for his hit films. But we have to say with great sadness that Tamil director Balamithran died on 6 June in a private hospital in Chennai. The director left behind his wife and two children. The post-production work of his first director's film 'Udukkai' was stalled due to the lockdown. Actress Sanjana Singh of the film has shared this sad news on Twitter.

He was first admitted to a private hospital in Vadapalani, but was unable to bear the cost and was shifted to SRM Hospital.
