Chennai: In Tamil Nadu, cases of corona infection are increasing day by day. Here on Saturday (August 22), 5,980 new cases of covid-19 have been reported. Now after the arrival of these cases, the total infection cases in the state has increased to 3,73,410. Apart from this, 80 infected people have died here due to which the number of tanks has increased to 6,420. It is being told that the Health Department has given information about it.

In fact, in the bulletin issued, it has been said that '5,603 infected people have been discharged from various health centers after being cured after treatment, with which the number of healthy people has increased to 3,13,280'. Apart from this, it has also come out in the bulletin that the rate of recovery of patients has increased to 83.89 percent. Apart from this, the rate was 83.73 percent on Friday.

According to the information received, 53,710 infected people are still under treatment in the state. Apart from this, we should also tell you that at present 41,36,490 samples have been tested in the state, out of which 73,547 samples were tested on Saturday. At the same time, of the new cases of infection, 1,294 cases are in Chennai, here the total cases of infection have been 1,24,071. By the way, you must know that Tamil Nadu is second only to Maharashtra in cases of infection and death. The number of cases is increasing day by day.
