Chennai: Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin has announced rs 25 lakh each to the families of 43 doctors and frontline workers who lost their live due to corona epidemic. Releasing a statement on Wednesday, Stalin said that medical staff will be given bonus as a reward as they are struggling day and night for the lives of patients during the COVID-19 epidemic.

As per the announcement, medical staff who were on duty in April-May and June will get bonus. 30,000/- to doctors, 20,000 rupees to nurses and 15,000 rupees each to other staff. An additional bonus of 20,000 rupees will also be given to trainee and post graduate doctors. In addition, Chennai Corporation has also planned temporary recruitment of trainee doctors to fight the epidemic. They will be admitted for three months. Under this, 300 final year students of MBBS will be recruited and will also be paid an amount of Rs.
