Tamil Nadu HSE+2 result will be announced on April 19, 2019 by The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations. The exam body will declare the result on its official websites at 09:30 am. Students can check their result on tnresults.nic.in, dge.tn.gov.in. The result will also be displayed on examresults.net. Directorate of Government Examinations conducted the board results. The exams were started from March 1, 2019 and concluded on March 19, 2019. Last year the result was released on May 16, 2019 at 09:30 am. Total 9,07,620 students had appeared in the exam last year. The overall pass percentage in 2018 was 91.1%.

The students are advised to print results for further use. In 2018 Results girls had performed better than boys. The passing percentage of girls was 91.1 percent and 87.7% for boys. Last year 4.63 lakh female and 4.03 lakh male candidates appeared for the examination. 100 % result was scored in 2018 by 6754 schools.
The Directorate of Government Examinations was established in February, 2019. It conducts board examinations for students appearing in State Board Class 10th and 12th Exams.
