Madhav Rao, veteran Congress leader passes away due to corona

Srivilliputtur: In the country, elections are going on in the same period, meanwhile, in the assembly elections held in Tamil Nadu on April 6, Congress candidate PSW Madhav Rao from Srivilliputhur seat has died on Sunday. It is being said that he was infected with Corona. Rao was 63 years old and is survived by only his daughter. Last month, Rao's report came to Corona positive, after which he was admitted to a private hospital in Madurai on 20 March and died in the hospital on Sunday morning.

On the death of Rao, many big leaders have expressed deep sorrow. Tamil Nadu in charge secretary of the All India Congress Committee said, "Srivilliputhur Assembly Congress candidate Madhavrao is deeply saddened by the news of his death due to Corona." He said, "Our deepest condolences to his family. In this hour of grief, we stand with him and pray that his soul rests in peace".

AIADMK O Panneerselvam and DMK chief MK Stalin have expressed grief over Rao's death. Stalin said that Rao's death is a big loss for the people of Srivilliputhur and the Congress party. The DMK chief appealed to individuals involved in public life to take precautions and get the Corona vaccine installed. It is being said that Rao could not even campaign this time due to illness, after which his daughter took over the responsibility of campaigning.
