New Delhi: Corona cases in India have now come down to a great extent. But the crisis has not been completely averted. That is why the Government is paying a lot of attention to vaccination. In the same vein, the Tamil Nadu government is also going to take a major decision on vaccination. The State Government has informed that free corona vaccination will also be introduced in private hospitals soon. CSR funds of several companies in the state will be utilized for this purpose.

After chairing the coordination meeting on vaccination, The Health Minister of the same State, Ma Subramanian told media persons that Tamil Nadu has been given 72 lakh vaccine doses for the month of July. According to media reports, the state government is also strategising free vaccination in individual hospitals. CSR funding will be used for this purpose. The Minister informed that the vaccines allocated to private hospitals will be given free of cost to the individuals and CSR funding will be used to bear the cost of vaccines.

Private hospitals in Tamil Nadu have so far received 18,70,520 vaccine supplements. Out of this, 13,31,613 doses have been given and 5,38,907 doses are still in stock in hospitals. Subramanian said the state government will publish csr funding details of vaccines online. The total number of infection cases has gone up to 3,13,32,159 after 39,097 corona cases were reported in India on Saturday. At the same time, with the death of 546 patients, the number of corona deaths in the country has increased to 420,016.
