Chennai: Corona cases are increasing day by day in Tamil Nadu are obstructing the government to issue big orders. Due to Covid19 pandemic, the central government has cited a ban on religious gatherings. Apart from this, people have been advised to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi inside their homes on Thursday.

This time people have been asked to celebrate the festival in their own house instead of celebrating outside. In fact, in a statement issued by the government on Thursday, it has been said that to stop the spread of Coronavirus, orders have been given to ban the installation of Ganesh idols in public places and to carry them in procession.

Apart from this, it has also been said in this statement that, "Madras High Court, while hearing a batch of petitions on this matter, the government issued orders which should be followed." People and politicians are angry with this, why the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is not allowed to be celebrated outside? but citing safety reasons these orders have been issued.
